Introduction
Yudan Course started as a personal teaching project for beginners who wanted to learn fullstack web development from zero. The goal was to make coding and backend architecture feel less intimidating by turning the learning experience into a friendly journey. Instead of only giving materials, Yudan Course combines lessons, quizzes, progress tracking, XP, badges, and a gamified interface so students can feel their progress as they learn.
Execution
I designed the platform around a playful learning flow inspired by game progression. The experience includes beginner-friendly modules for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Express, databases, and Git, quiz attempts, progress indicators, leaderboard-style motivation, and a visual journey map. The UI uses soft purple, yellow reward elements, rounded cards, hearts, XP, and lesson nodes to make the platform feel fun and approachable. Beyond the platform itself, I also taught the students directly, guiding them from front-end styling to deploying secure servers and database connections. This helped me understand where beginners usually get confused and how to explain complex fullstack concepts in a simpler, friendlier way.
Results & Impact
Yudan Course became more than a portfolio project. It became a real learning experience for students. Through this project, I learned how to design educational flows, explain technical concepts, and build a product around real user feedback. Students responded positively because the learning process felt friendly, patient, clear, and enjoyable.
