Introduction
Burger Bjirr is an interactive food ordering platform designed to stand out. The goal was to transform a typical fast-food menu into a playful, engaging pre-order experience. Instead of just picking a burger from a list, users can customize ingredients, stack them in a visual lab, and place their pre-orders directly, while the admin team manages orders from a simplified command center.
Execution
I designed and developed the entire web application, structuring the experience around three core pillars: 1. **Pre-order Flow**: A seamless step-by-step pathway mapping the menu selection, cart actions, checkout form, online payment, and pickup scheduling. 2. **Custom Burger Lab**: An interactive ingredient builder where users can stack buns, patties, cheese, lettuce, and custom sauces, viewing their creations dynamically in a real-time layout. 3. **Admin Dashboard**: A consolidated interface for the kitchen team to view incoming pre-orders, toggle payment status, and organize prep lists for daily pickup schedules.
Results & Impact
The final website turned Burger Bjirr into a more interactive food ordering experience. Customers can explore the menu, customize their burger, and place pre-orders more clearly, while the admin side helps manage incoming orders and payment status.
